CA C.R.KUMAR is a First class Mathematics graduate from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, Chennai. He joined Sastri & Shah immediately after his graduation and completed his Article-ship training under his father CA C.N.PRASAD, Partner Sastri & Shah . He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987 and became a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in April 1992. He has been in continuous practice since 1987.

He has obtained certification on IFRS conducted by the Institute. He is an Information Systems Auditor and obtained Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA ( USA ) and is their Platinum member. He was a faculty in the Institute of Chartered Accountants for their flagship General Management and Communication course. He is also a faculty in their Information Technology course and handles topics on Auditing in ERP environment.

He was a co-opted member of the Committee on Information Technology of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi. He is a member of the Committee on Information Technology in Southern India Regional Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

He had conducted Out bound programmes in Leadership skills, Communication and Presentation skills for InfoTech companies. He had also conducted training programmes there on Software Project Management – Concepts and on MS Projects Software Project Management tool.
